About Us

Pendolare was designed by Tara Sauvage for commuters everywhere. The brand idea came about when Tara was living on Eastlake Avenue in Seattle and she noticed all the bicycle commuters wearing ugly yellow backpacks on their commute. She knew she could design something better that would look great from the bike to the boardroom. Pendolare is located in San Diego, California.

As a professional handbag and accessories designer with extensive experience in the fashion and consumer goods industries, Tara has crafted these bags to meet the needs of modern cyclists.

As the founder of the brand, Tara brings her expertise and commitment to high standards to each design. She holds an MBA in Global Business from the University of San Diego and a BA in International Business from Washington State University.

Originally from Seattle, Tara lives in San Diego with her family and two dogs, Charlie and Jolene. Her mission is to create bicycle bags that enhance your cycling experience while providing reliable, durable, and stylish solutions for everyday use.
